About the role:
Estimating is a vital component of Sales that involves determining the time, cost, and resources required to complete a project successfully. Accurate estimates are essential for effective planning, budgeting, and project execution, ensuring that labor, materials, and overhead costs are precisely accounted for.
Your Responsibilities will include:
Project Estimating
- Provide precise estimates for materials, labor, and project hours.
- Develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
Best Practices Development
- Regularly update material prices and compare estimates with historical data.
- Refine estimating procedures based on lessons learned and industry standards.
Team Support
- Supply necessary information to the Drafting Department, Sales Department, and other relevant teams.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment with other departments throughout the project life cycle.
- Scheduling
Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and review accurate project schedules.
Adjust schedules based on project scope changes and resource availability.

Estimating Software Mastery
- Expertise in using estimating software for digital takeoffs, cost calculations, and report generation.
Industry Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of architectural millwork construction methods, industry standards, and tolerances.
Customer Care
- Represent the company professionally and courteously in all client and stakeholder interactions.
Effective Communication
- Maintain professional phone etiquette and clear, concise email communication.
Blueprint Interpretation
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and use tools like PlanSwift for accurate take-offs.
A high school diploma is required.
Driver’s License
