The Finisher plays a critical role in bringing each project to completion. This position involves preparing items for finishing by sanding, filling, routing, and applying final surface treatments before installation. Finishers ensure every product meets Sarandi’s gold standard of quality through immaculate detail, craftsmanship, and care. Position Details

Surface Preparation
•Fill all holes before sanding.
•Utilizing various sanding methods (e.g., hand sanding, power sanding) to achieve a smooth, even surface.
•Removing imperfections, such as burrs, splinters, and glue residue, from surfaces.
•Sands the wood in order to prepare the item for finishing.

Material Selection
•Choosing the appropriate sandpaper or abrasive for the specific material and task.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

•Safely operating sanding machines and ensuring they are properly maintained and cleaned.

Quality Control
•Inspecting sanded surfaces for smoothness and addressing any remaining imperfections.

Safety Compliance
•Adhering to safety procedures and using protective equipment.

Routing
•Route all the edges needed. For example, on doors, panels, etc.

Packaging
•Package items, when needed, after they are finished.
