CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. They translate blueprints into machine instructions, load materials, monitor the machines, and inspect finished products. They also perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Position Details

Machine Operation
•Takes parts cut on the Beam Saw, that need groves, holes, etc. and machines them.
•Check the cut list so that everything on it is correct.
•Operates the CNC machines, and makes sure everything is done well.
•Stack everything so it will be more understandable which parts are what.

Quality Control
•Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.

Maintenance/ Documentation
•Performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and light maintenance on the CNC machine and tooling.
•Keeping detailed records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.

Assisting throughout the shop
•Helps the Beam Saw Operator with all the parts cut.
•Assists others in the shop when needed.

Safety
•Following all safety procedures and protocols for operating the CNC machine and working in a manufacturing environment.
